Your hours and customer data stay in your hands. Everything is stored locally on the device and can be synced with Xpert-Timer pro.

How your data gets from the device to you:

  • Hours, customers and projects live on the device itself — not on someone else’s server.
  • Sync with Xpert-Timer pro on your computer, available as an add-on module.
  • Reports as .csv, .html or PDF for hand-over or invoicing, also an add-on module.
  • External backups are strongly recommended — you will also need one when changing devices.

  • Add notes and photos to a time entry.

Is Xpert-Timer mobile free?

The app is available as a free trial on the Google Play Store and includes 50 time stamps at no cost. For the full scope you install the full version; add-on modules are booked individually when you need them.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes. Pick a customer, project and task, track working time with the timer, attach notes and photos — all of that runs offline, on site, at the customer or on the road. A connection is only needed for synchronisation and for buying add-on modules.

Where is my data stored?

All hours and customer data stay locally on your Android device. Xpert-Timer mobile uses no cloud — you decide yourself whether and where to synchronise your data.

Which devices is the app available for?

Xpert-Timer mobile is an Android app and is available for download on the Google Play Store.

Can I sync the tracked hours with my PC?

Yes. With the synchronisation module you sync the hours tracked on the go with Xpert-Timer pro on your computer and evaluate them further there.

Which add-on modules are available?

The following add-on modules are available: PDF report printing for timesheets and invoicing, a signature module for sign-off directly on the device, photo upload as evidence, and synchronisation with Xpert-Timer pro.

Who is the app for?

For anyone who tracks working time on the go: tradespeople, freelancers, surveyors and small businesses that want to record project hours per customer and task.

Are there any recurring costs?

Are backups created?

You are responsible for backups yourself. If the device fails, you cannot access the internal Android storage where the recorded data is kept. We therefore strongly recommend regular external backups.
